Back Scrub Massage

Back scrub massage is a spa treatment that combines elements of exfoliation and massage to rejuvenate and revitalize the skin on the back. This luxurious treatment aims to promote relaxation while improving the skin’s texture and appearance. The massage therapist applies a specially formulated exfoliating scrub to the client’s back. The scrub typically contains granules or particles that gently slough off dead skin cells, unclog pores, and remove impurities from the skin’s surface. The exfoliation process helps to reveal smoother, softer, and more radiant skin. After applying the scrub, the massage therapist begins the massage component of the treatment. Using a combination of long, gliding strokes and kneading techniques, the therapist works the scrub into the back, shoulders, and sometimes the neck area. Once the scrub has been thoroughly massaged into the skin, the therapist may use a warm, damp towel to gently remove the scrub. To complete the back scrub massage, the therapist applies a nourishing moisturizer or lotion to the skin. This step helps to lock in moisture, leaving the skin feeling hydrated and supple.
